- PCMS was formed with core business of Business Applications, Hardware and Networking, Managed Services.
1984
- Specialist teams offering Project Management, Systems Development, Implementation, Training and Support concentrate on several industry sectors, which include: Automotive and Aftermarket, Construction, Retail Systems (non food), Distribution Trade Counters.
1985
- Commercial Systems Division added to develop first version of VISION representing the following areas: Trade counters, Warehouse Management and Supply Chain Management, General Order Processing and Financial Systems, Retail Systems. First national customers signed for VISION software: Tarmac Construction, Partco Automotive
1986
- First National customer signed for Managed Services, Partco Automotive.

- First system developed for outside the UK: Lucas (Portugal, Italy, Spain).

- High street retailer The Body Shop adopts VISION Back Office System.

- VISON Portfolio extended to include the Food Service market sector.
- CWS sign large Managed Service contract.

- Largest server order taken by third party for Sun.
- Products and Services extended to include: Business Intelligence and Warehouse Data Mining, Loyalty Services, Call Center Services.

- Strategy of Java and Oracle was adopted and first Data Warehouse developed.
- Java software application redevelopment commenced.
- PCMS acquired Datafit (premier Java based POS company).

- Adoption of HTML and later XML for web-based solutions.
- Boston, Massachusetts office commenced first Java-based solution.

- Expansion of services to include ASP offerings for both B2C and B2B as a logical extension to Managed Services, Internet Service Provision.
- VISION resellers established throughout North and South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

- PCMS Group acquires Esprit (Internet Services and Design company) and 3x Corporation of Cincinnati to expand software and IT business in the USA. New North American headquarters named - PCMS Datafit, Inc.

- PCMS announces that the largest optical retail chain in North America, Lencrafters, has successfully roll out 700 of 900 stores utilizing PCMS's state-of-the-art POS software and JAVA framework, VISION BeanStore.

- PCMS ranks 3-9 in RIS Leaderboard Top 50 software vendors.
- IT Advisor Group wins Microsoft Customer Experience and Satisfaction Award.

- IT Advisor Group named Microsoft VAR Partner of the Year.
