Chip & Pin Payment Functionality
Chip & Pin is the emerging world standard to reduce fraud in credit and debit transactions.
PCMS, in partnership with IBM, has produced a fully integrated Chip & PIN solution. Vision BeanStore, with IBM StorePay, provides the retailer the benefits of an integrated solution and added protection against the liability associated with fraud.

  • Compatible with multiple authorizers

  • Support for both combined Chip & Pin with magnetic stripe devices and separate devices
PCMS has experience working with both Ingenico and Trintech devices.

A hybrid reader, such as the Ingenico 6210 and the Trintech pictured here, has the ability to read both a CHIP card and a standard Magnetic swipe card. This simplifies the operation at the POS by eliminating the need for the operator to choose between multiple devices.
Biometrics:
PCMS uses UPEK's Fingerprint and Combo USB Readers which are highly accurate, reliable, and cost-effective fingerprint authentication peripherals. UPEK's USB Reader product line includes peripherals for desktops and notebooks, and can enable multi-factor authentication in conjunction with smartcards.
